A Traditional pile weave Beni Ourain Rug, This is a medium runner style piece from our  Ziri ( moonshine)  Beni Ourain Collection these rugs have been hand woven in the finest soft wool By the ladies of the Beni Ourain tribe and other Neighbouring Berber tribes, in the Atlas mountains of Morocco.

Beni Ourains Rugs were Traditionally woven for the use as blankets and warmth, being a necessity, in the Very cold temperatures of the High Atlas, These pieces are rich with the patterns history, stories and dreams of the Berber women who weave them.

In modern Times The classic yet versatile Beni Ourain has emerged as a go to statement floor furnishing, Often used by Interior Designers and Stylists to bring an element of effortless ethnic style to homes and spaces across the globe.

The very traditional weave of this authentic Moroccan rug sees the loom end with a closed knot finish and the other end with a Tassle fringe.

This Rug Measures 2.97 x 1.1 metres  with a dark chocolate brown diamond pattern in Berber symbology these are feminine forms and designs with a small dark chocolate feature around the edge, woven in luxurious 100 % natural wool.
